The American Alligator is from the south-eastern regions of the United States. The reproduction season of this reptile, generally coincides with the storms that mark the end of the spring and the beginning of the summer. The female will lay between 20 and 70 eggs on a nest made of dead vegetation and, after 65 to 70 days of incubation, the baby alligators will hatch with some help from their mother.
