The Sigean African Reserve can be discovered BY CAR for about 1 hour, and ON FOOT for about 2h30. (Must visit with your own vehicle: car, camper van or bus. Convertibles, motorcycles and bicycles are not allowed).

At the very least, your visit will last between three and four hours, so it’s best to plan for the whole day!

Safari by car

On a 7.5 km route, your vehicle will take you through the three parks of the African bush, home to Dwarf Buffalo, Impala, Zebra, Springbok, Ostrich, Giraffe….

You will then continue to the Tibetan Bear and Lion Parks. Your self-drive safari ends after the three parks of the African Savannah, home to White Rhinoceros, Sitatungas, Warthogs, Somali Donkeys…

If you haven’t seen all the animals, we strongly recommend you repeat this part at another time of day.

Park on foot

After parking your vehicle in the parking lots in the center of the Park, the walk will take you along the ponds where pink flamingos, pink-backed pelicans and white storks regularly breed…

You’ll discover the many viewing parks with views of African antelopes, chimpanzees, cheetahs, wild dogs…

The vivarium plunges you into the mysterious world of reptiles…

You’ll enter one of Europe’s largest immersion aviaries, where Sacred Ibises, African Spoonbills, Abdim’s Storks, Marabouts… form large mixed colonies like those found in African wetlands.
