Lar gibbon
Hylobates lar
When females give birth, each have one or two cubs little bigger than a guinea pig. At birth, the cub weighs between 200 and 350 grams. Its fur is almost non-existent, and its inability to move makes it closely related to it’s mother: it will not leave her side for a year.
