The Leaf-tailed gecko is a large nocturnal gecko with a rather flattened body. Its irregular coloring is reminiscent of the bark of the trees in which it lives. The barbules that line its head and body add the finishing touch to its camouflage. Perfectly concealed, it hunts its prey on the prowl.
