Pink-backed pelican
Pelecanus rufescens
In less than 60 years, its population has dropped by 97%! Today, it is threatened by poachers of large mammals (elephant, rhinoceros, etc.) who poison the carcasses of animals they have killed. Indeed, the round of vultures alerts the rangers who more easily find the trail of poachers.
