Dumeril boa
Acrantophis dumerili
Its carinated scales give it the air of a small dragon. She spends her days high up in the trees, basking in the sun. When disturbed, it will drop through the foliage, but when cornered by a predator, it won’t hesitate to bite. It hunts at night and can sometimes attract prey by waving the tip of its tail like a lure.
